This is a full day sightseeing tour of Sofia starting 09:00. Duration is 8 hours.

09:00 Start from the St.Nedelya square with its impressive building of St.Nedelya Church which assumed the role of a city Metropolitan church. See the Statue of St.Sophia, the symbol of the city, the Bania Bashi Mosque / 16thc./ and visit the St.George Rotunda / 4th c./ - an early Christianity masterpiece. Walk through the ancient Ruins of Serdica and after along the Presidency building and the Batenberg square with its former Royal Palace, the building of the Bulgarian National Bank and the impressive National Theatre constructed in Neo classic style.

Pass by the Russian Church of St.Nicolas with its fine exterior from the early 20th c. and reach the Church of St.Sophia / 5c./ built on the site of Serdica city necropolis. Finish with the entrance to the magnificent Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the biggest church on the Balkan peninsula and the most impressive one with its unique interior and exterior decoration and murals.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon drive the famous Boyana Church at the foothills of the Vitosha Mountain, included in the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. The church is unique with its original murals dating back to the early 13th c. and is one of the finest examples of Bulgarian Medieval painting.
After drive to the Vitosha mountain and have an excellent view to the city.
