Tour starts from Sofia – the Bulgarian capital. Sightseeing Tour of the capital city, where more than 250 cultural and historical monuments from different ages blend harmoniously with the city’s modern appearance.Visit the Boyana Church, included in the UNESCO list of World Cultural heritage. The world famous frescoes in the Boyana church played an important role in the development of mediaeval Bulgarian and European painting.
Continue to Gabrovo where an illustration of the Bulgarian customs and crafts will be seen in The Open-air Museum Etara. Follows visit of the small museum town of Tryavna, picturesquely situated on both banks of a bubbly river, possessing a number of valuable examples from Bulgarian National Revival period, unique masterpieces in The Museum of Woodcarving and Icon-painting.
A place that could not be excluded is the royal city of Veliko Tarnovo and its highlights – Tsarevets Hill and the well-preserved Revival Shopping Street. Continue to the museum town of Arbanassi and its unique Nativity Church. Tour proceeds with another mystery to be seen - Madara Horseman, a unique bas-relief included in UNESCO’s List.
Continue to The Black Sea Coast and its major cities Varna and Bourgas. Visit of the major tourist destination Varna to experience Mankind’s Oldest Gold and The Oldest civilization in Europe. One more place of interest included – Roman Therms from the 2nd c. Wine tasting of high quality Bulgarian sorts of wine altogether with well-distinguished brands in Europe.
Follows walking tour in one of the UNESCO’s sites – the old quarter of Nessebar to enjoy the left by different civilizations marks of their history.
Departure to the famous Valley of Roses near the city of Kazanlak - a place concentrating 80% of the world’s production of attar of roses.Visiting The Rose Museum and one more object there – The Thracian Tomb 4th c.BC.,an UNESCO monument.
Leave to visit Plovdiv – more ancient than Bulgaria itself, the country’s second largest city. Get in touch with the preserved vivid memories of turbulent and dramatic fate in The Old Town of Plovdiv and the situated therein Roman Amphitheatre and Ethnographic Museum.Continuing to the highest Bulgarian mountains Rila and its world famous mountain resort Borovets.
